The 100-year-old Parsi Fire Temple on Queen’s Road, Bangalore, a sacred Zoroastrian sanctuary built in 1926, was meticulously restored in 2024–2025 to preserve its Persian-inspired elegance. We revived stained glass windows and plaster friezes using natural pigments, reinforced masonry with stainless steel supports to address structural cracks, and implemented damp proof treatment with chemical DPC, perforated floor drains and lime-based coatings to arrest rising dampness from flooring. I led documentation, defect mapping, and site supervision, ensuring the temple’s integrity and compliance.
