The Pantheon Building, a colonial-era iconic red plastered external finishes and lime-plastered interiors were revived using traditional lime mortar and natural finishes. I led defect mapping, documentation, and adaptive reuse plans, ensuring the cafeteria’s design—featuring jali-inspired screens and teak furnishings—complemented the museum’s legacy. Stainless steel supports fortified the structure against coastal humidity. From 2021–2024, with Jeernodhar Conservators, our conservation management plan adhered to ASI and ICOMOS standards, preserving the building’s grandeur while enhancing visitor experience. This project transformed the Pantheon into a cultural oasis, inviting museum-goers to savor history in a revitalized setting.
